PAIA Manual
Last updated 21 June 2026
This manual is published under section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA). It explains what records Thola holds and how to request access.
1. About the organisation
Thola (tholaleads.com). Information Officer: designated under POPIA §55.
Contact: privacy@tholaleads.com.
2. Guide by the Information Regulator
The Regulator's PAIA guide (how to use the Act) is available from the Information Regulator (South Africa), Johannesburg — inforegulator.org.za.
3. Records we hold
- Customer account and billing records.
- Lead and customer data entered by businesses using Thola (held as operator on their behalf).
- Operational, security, and audit logs.
- Statutory records (company, tax, employment) as required by law.
4. How to request access
Submit the prescribed PAIA request form to privacy@tholaleads.com, identifying the record and the right you're exercising. We respond within 30 days as the Act requires; prescribed fees may apply. Where a record contains another person's personal information, access may be refused or redacted per PAIA and POPIA.
5. Data-subject requests (POPIA)
If you're asking about your own personal information (access, correction, deletion), see our Privacy Policy — those requests are handled under POPIA and are usually quicker than a formal PAIA request.
